What qualifications do I need to drive for FCC?

To qualify for a driving position with FCC, applicants must:

What equipment do FCC drivers operate?

FCC operates newer Freightliner Cascadias equipped with:

  • Automatic transmissions
  • Condo sleepers

  • Diesel-powered APUs

FCC trailers are primarily newer 53-foot trailers.

All company trucks come with a new mattress.

Are pets or riders allowed?

Yes.

Pet Policy

Drivers may bring:

  • Cats that are declawed or use approved nail caps

Rider Policy

Immediate family members over the age of 10 may be eligible to ride with drivers.

What freight does FCC haul?

FCC primarily operates:

  • Dry Van freight
  • Flatbed freight

Drivers haul primarily no-touch freight, with approximately 72% of loads being drop-and-hook.

FCC operates throughout the continental United States but generally does not service New York City.

FCC does not haul freight into Canada or Mexico.

What does the application process look like?

The application process begins with submitting your information to the recruiting team.

Once your application is reviewed, FCC will verify qualifications, driving experience, and hiring requirements before moving forward in the process.

Qualified candidates will be contacted by a recruiter to discuss available opportunities and next steps.

What happens during orientation?

FCC orientation is designed to help drivers prepare for a successful start.

The majority of orientation is completed online from home.

Drivers then attend a one-day in-person orientation session in Fremont.

FCC currently provides orientation pay of $500.
