Fremont Contract Carriers would like to give a huge congratulations to the FCC and Valmont team for successfully completing one of the largest hauls in FCC’s history.

After working together on the project since May 1st of this year, the team was finally able to successfully haul a large electrical substation from Valley, Nebraska to Savana, Oklahoma. Aided by three pilot cars, our veteran driver Dan Felber was able to transport this huge haul damage-free. The only snag was finding a few tree branches that had not been adequately trimmed in Savana, but the city quickly took care of it.

The electrical substation was one of the largest loads FCC has ever hauled. The substation is 18 1/2 feet wide, 40 feet long and 14 feet tall. The team loaded it onto a rented RGN with the help of an overhead crane. The Valmont and FCC team demonstrated excellent critical thinking to effectively and safely transport this historic haul.
