Here at FCC, we love our dispatchers and are thankful for all they do. During this time, dispatchers are more important than ever. Drivers and dispatchers work hand-in-hand with one another, and rely on one another greatly! Here are the reasons we love our dispatchers!

Balancing Tasks

Balancing tasks is no easy feat, but they make it look easy! Dispatchers are responsible for resolving different tasks quickly and efficiently. This is beneficial to drivers because it keeps them on schedule and it protects their company from missed opportunities and delays.

Thank you for continuing to work hard in stressful situations to bring a great result and for managing multiple tasks to help everything run smoothly.

Being One Step Ahead

Dispatchers are always one step ahead – making sure to keep the drivers’ needs in mind along with the needs of the customers. Dispatchers are helping drivers by checking for weather issues on their route, maximizing fuel efficiency, and managing loads.

Continuing to be one step ahead helps keep everyone happy – so thank you for putting the work in to put the effort in.

Maintaining Relationships

Our Dispatchers work hard to maintain their relationship with drivers and customers. Many dispatchers rely on truck drivers to transport the product and to communicate any issues they have on their route. Dispatchers have to work hard to maintain a good relationship with their drivers to help the drivers get through these long hours easier.

On the same note, dispatchers have to maintain relationships with their customers as well. They have to be able to communicate to the customers any delays and help them find solutions. Having communication with the customers helps build trust and means they will likely come back to you for other loads.

Maintaining relationships is hard work and dispatchers work hard with dedication to make sure everything runs smoothly on both ends!

Planning For Delays

Delays can happen at any given moment. Our Dispatchers always have to have a plan for any delays that may happen while their drivers are on the road. They have to look ahead for the weather, construction, and traffic delays that may cause their loads to be pushed back. Dispatchers look for these various delays beforehand so they can save drivers time and their company money.

They work to save the drivers time and the customers’ money which is a hard job and we are thankful for them.

Closing

Dispatchers work hard each and every day and do so much for all of the drivers and the customers. We love our dispatchers and want to make sure they know how much they are appreciated.

Here at FCC, we appreciate our dispatchers and they know our drivers by their name – not their truck number. Consider driving for the FCC family! FCC cares about our dispatchers and our drivers and treats all of them like they are part of our family.
